Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. A deposit is required for select services and is applied toward your service total. Deposits begin at $50 for shorter appointments, including Sculpt services other than Fringe; $100 for regular colour; and $150 for larger or more complex appointments. Your required deposit is shown when your appointment is offered or booked. An appointment is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
If you book a series of visits, your deposit can roll forward from one appointment to the next and is applied to the final appointment in that series. If a later service requires a higher deposit, we will let you know before confirming it. If a deposit is used for a late cancellation or missed appointment, a new deposit is required to secure remaining dates.
Please contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment start time if you need to cancel or move it. With at least 48 hours’ notice, you may transfer your deposit to a new date or request a refund if you are not rebooking. Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments result in the deposit being retained for the reserved time. A new deposit is required to book again.
Please let us know if you expect to be late. At 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start, the service may need to be adjusted. If we cannot complete it properly in the remaining time, it may need to be rescheduled and the late-cancellation deposit terms may apply.
Certain services may require consultation before the final appointment is booked. This can include major colour changes • corrective colour • grey transitions • extensions • significant transformations.
Consultations allow us to assess hair history • current condition • goals • timing • maintenance • expected investment.
A consultation does not always guarantee that the requested result can or should be completed in one session. The artist will recommend the safest and most realistic pathway forward.
Hair colour is highly individual.
Results can be affected by previous colour history • box colour • mineral buildup • hair condition • density • texture • starting level • desired result.
For larger transformations, the final goal may require multiple appointments. Mirror Muse prioritizes hair integrity and long-term results over forcing a result in one session.
Extension services require consultation before installation.
The consultation may determine method • amount of hair required • colour match • maintenance • home care • timing • total investment.
Extension hair or custom orders may require additional payment before product is ordered.
The Residency at House of Snob operates on scheduled Edmonton dates rather than a permanent weekly schedule. Appointments at The Residency and at Level Seven are made by request.
Submitting a request places you on our request list; it does not reserve an appointment. Guest Experience will contact you when a suitable time is available. Your booking is confirmed only after you accept the offered time and pay any required deposit.
Bridal bookings operate separately from regular salon appointments.
Wedding dates are secured through the Bridal Concierge process, which may include availability confirmation → proposal → contract → retainer → trial → finalized timeline.
Bridal retainers, travel requirements, artist minimums and cancellation terms are contained within the individual bridal agreement.
Editorial, commercial, film, event and production work is quoted and contracted separately.

These projects do not fall under standard salon cancellation policies.
Guest information, consultation details, forms and booking information should be handled respectfully and only used for the purposes required to provide and manage Mirror Muse services.
Not always. Regular returning services may be booked directly, while new guests, large transformations, corrective colour, extensions and some grey-blending journeys may require a consultation first.

No. The Mirror Muse Collective includes and is continuing to add artists and specialists across multiple disciplines. Guests should be able to find the artist who best fits their location, desired service, budget and experience.
Mirror Muse currently operates through three spaces: The Sanctuary, UNION YYC — Chinook • Calgary; The Collective Hub, Level 7 Salon • Calgary; and The Residency, House of Snob • Edmonton. Each location has its own artist availability and booking pathway.
This depends on the service and desired maintenance. As a guide: roots around 4–6 weeks; tonal changes and dimensional refresh around 8–12 weeks, tailored by artist. The artist will recommend an individual maintenance plan.
Yes. Bridal services are coordinated through The Mirror Muse Bridal Concierge and may include hair, makeup, wedding parties, trials, travel and additional artists.
Yes, select bridal, editorial, production and event work may be available outside Calgary and Edmonton. Travel requirements are quoted based on the project.
Yes, extension services are available through consultation. The consultation determines suitability, method, colour, required hair, maintenance and investment.
